Super Models like Krishna Somani, Amanpreet Wahi , Donna Katherin Masih, Talia Bentson including others enthralled the audience displaying the 30 collections of the Fashion Design [FD] students, and 9 collections of the Fashion Design Indian Wear [FDIW] students.

The fashion show is primarily a showcase for budding fashion designers. In addition to being a unique opportunity for talented fashion designers, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and stunning runway models.

According to Choreographer Ms. Rashmi Virmani , “The concept of this exciting series of shows is to create a relaxed environment for fashionistas to enjoy a top-of-the-line runway show and have the opportunity to place orders and interact with the designers.” He adds, “Fashion lovers will be in fashion heaven as they spend a stylish afternoon in Jaipur soaking up the latest in fashion design along with a delicious brunch while sipping champagne”.

1. The Middle Eastern style: This is mainly made of floral patterns similar to the Arabic textiles, paintings and carvings, and usually do not follow a typical pattern.

Designers, models, traders and the media waited in vain at the venue until late in the evening on Wednesday as police conducted a surprise check on the paperwork for the five-day Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in New Delhi.

“The event will open on Thursday. We have the fire safety certificate now,” said Bhavna Katyal, a member of the organising team.

Katyal said they had failed to obtain a certificate from the fire department showing that all safety arrangements were in place at the venue which led the police to order its closure.

The event, in its 15th edition this year, will feature 130 Indian designers showcasing their collections, and had eight shows planned on the opening day.

Among India’s host of fashion events, the biannual India Fashion Week along with the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai are considered the most important events on the calendar.

Katyal said she was unsure how the cancelled shows would be rescheduled at the Okhla exhibition centre in the south of New Delhi.

I am volunteering with Pure Fashion this year as their event and meeting photographer. Pure Fashion focuses on guiding young women ages 14 to 18 to become confident, competent leaders who live the virtues of modesty and purity in their schools and communities.”
